CONTROL CHANNEL IMPROVEMENTS
UPPER RIO GRANDE WATERSHED DISTRICT
The Upper Rio Grande Watershed District (Owner) requests sealed bids until 2:00 p.m. on 5 November 2021 at their office located at 19283 US Highway 84/285, Suite 112 in Hernandez, New Mexico for a unit price contract for construction of the Upper Rio Grande Watershed District – Lyden Flood Control Channel Improvements project.
The project involves the construction of a new reinforced concrete cattleguard/sediment detention structure at the intersection of County Road 57 and Private Road 1084 in Lyden, NM including clearing and grubbing, removals of structures and obstructions, installation of structural steel works, concrete, backfill, compaction, construction traffic control and miscellaneous construction.

Bidders are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves regarding all local conditions. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site tour of this project is scheduled for 29 October 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the project site located at the intersection of County Road 57 and Private Road 1084 in Lyden, New Mexico.
Bidders on this project must be licensed New Mexico Contractors. All bidders must indicate their current New Mexico Contractor's License Number and classification on the outside of the sealed envelope.
Working time for this Contract is sixty (60) calendar days. Time will be counted from the date of Notice to Proceed.
The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals or Bids, to waive technicalities, to make any investigation deemed necessary of a Bidder's ability to perform the work covered by the Specifications, and to accept what in the judgement of the Owner is the best bid.
