NOTICE OF MEETING AND INTENT TO
Rio Arriba County, New Mexico, hereby gives notice of a regular Board of County Commissioners meeting on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Rio Arriba County Administrative Complex Commission cambers, Tierra Amarilla, New Mexico 87575. At such meeting, the Board of County Commissioners will hold a public hearing concerning, and will consider for adoption, the ordinance described below. Complete copies of the Ordinance are available for public inspection during the normal and regular business hours of the County Clerk, Espanola or Tierra Amarilla, New Mexico.
The title of the Ordinance is:
AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF THE RIO ARRIBA COUNTY, NEW MEXICO GROSS RECEIPTS TAX REFUNDING REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 2021, IN AN AGGREGATE PRINCIPAL AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED THREE MILLION FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($3,500,000) FOR THE PURPOSE OF REFUNDING THE COUNTY’S OUTSTANDING GROSS RECEIPTS TAX REVENUE BONDS, SERIES 2013; PROVIDING THAT THE BONDS WILL BE PAYABLE AND COLLECTIBLE SOLELY FROM THE (1) REVENUES DERIVED FROM THE FIRST INCREMENT OF COUNTY GROSS RECEIPTS TAX IMPOSED BY THE COUNTY PURSUANT TO SECTION 7-20E-9 NMSA 1978 AND RIO ARRIBA COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 1987-02 ADOPTED ON DECEMBER 18, 1987, AS AMENDED BY COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 1995-01 ADOPTED ON SEPTEMBER 22, 1994, AND (2) REVENUES DERIVED FROM THE COUNTY ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES GROSS RECEIPTS TAX IMPOSED BY THE COUNTY PURSUANT TO SECTION 7-20E-17 NMSA 1978; PROVIDING FOR THE DISPOSITION OF THE GROSS RECEIPTS TAXES; PROVIDING FOR THE MANNER OF EXECUTION OF THE BONDS, THE METHOD OF PAYING THE BONDS AND OTHER DETAILS CONCERNING THE BONDS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO COVENANTS AND AGREEMENTS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH; RATIFYING ACTION PREVIOUSLY TAKEN IN CONNECTION WITH THE BONDS.
The title sets forth a general summary of the subject matter contained in the Ordinance. This notice constitutes compliance with Section 4-37-7 NMSA 1978.
