Dolores M. Quintana, 67 a resident of Santa Cruz, received her heavenly wings on August 26, 2020. She was born in Henderson, Nevada on November 21, 1952. Dolores was preceded in death by her son, Army Sargent Pernell Johnnie Herrera; her parents, Johnny and Elma Duran; Arthur and Pernells father, Fermin Herrera; her father, Air Force Corporal Ben Eloy Quintana Sr.; brother, Gunnery Sergent Ben Eloy Quintana Jr.; siters, Jeanette Avila and Carmelita Gonzales; nieces, Maria Elena Lujan and Elizabeth Saiz; nephews, Ernie Saiz, Ronnie Martinez, and baby Chris Gallegos; and her precious little dog, Pepe. Dolores passions were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved baking and teaching her friends and family how to make her amazing biscochitos, patelitos and natillas. Dolores was a kind hearted person always helping friends and family, she will be greatly missed. Dolores is survived by her son, Arthur F. Herrera; her grandchildren, Leah, Mikayla, and Kaylee Scarborough, and their mother, Marisa; Pernells children, Julian and Alicia Herrera and great grand-children, Aaliyah and Kodi; sisters, Lorraine Quintana, Mary Ann Lujan, Maxine Saiz and Ethel Cobos; loving friend, James Gutierrez as well as many other loved family and friends. Memorial mass will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 10:00a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Santa Cruz. The family of Dolores M.
