Federico Martinez

Federico Martinez, 96 a resident of Norwalk, California, and formally of Cordova, NM, passed away peacefully at his home on December 1, 2020. Preceded in death by his wife, Maria Olivas Martinez, his daughter Yolanda Gonzales, sons in law Francisco Vasquez and Tino Gonzales, grandson Francisco Vasquez Jr., parents Benito and Juanita Martinez, brother Cipriano Martinez, sister Floy Baca, in laws Sotero and Angelita Olivas and many other beloved in laws. Survived by daughters Angie Vasquez , Juanita Martinez (Albert) and son Anthony Martinez (Rose), brother Samuel Martinez Sr of El Paso. Grandchildren Angela Scott (Steve), Melissa Martinez (Eppie), Victor Gonzales (Tiffany), Amanda Gonzales, Maria Martinez, Josie Martinez and Cruz Martinez. 13 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, sisters-in-law Bernie Valdez and Dolores Martinez (Roman). Also many loving nieces, nephews and God children. Federico lived a long and happy life. Blessed with good health and a very loving family. He was a life long member of the Morada de San Antonio de Padua in Cordova, NM. Federico and Maria moved to California in 1954.  He was employed by McDonald Douglas Aircraft as an electrician retiring in 1992. He has left behind many memories that will be cherished forever. Special thank you to all that visited and called him before his passing, and now sending condolences. Also, thank you to is Hermanos from the Morada for the visits and prayers. Thank you to Norma Antillon for the loving care given. Due to Covid-19, services will be held on a later date to be announced.
