Grace M. Martinez 80 a resident of Española. New Mexico formally of El Rito, New Mexico passed away on Monday, December 23, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Ricardo R. Martinez on June 9, 2019. She was born December 21, 1939 in El Rito to Jose Tomas and Teodosia Marquez who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sister Juanita Alire and husband Aniceto and brothers in law: Mike Gallegos, Joe M. Trujillo and Mike Trujillo. By other nephews and nieces. She is survived by her loving sisters who took care of her Mary Vigil and husband Leonard. Sisters Amelia Trujillo, Celia Trujillo and Marcelina Gallegos. Brothers Tomas Marquez and wife Linda and Max Marquez and wife Vangie. Nephews that were like her sons: Leonard Vigil Jr. and daughter Uriah; Kenneth Vigil and wife Vanessa and their children: Isabella, Gabriel, and Giselle. Also survived by nieces that helped care for her Elizabeth Garcia and Bernadette Marquez and many more nieces, nephews, other relatives. Per her request there will be no services. A very special thanks to Rose, Sue, Claudette, Julian and the rest of the staff from Ambercare for their love and compassionate care. To Lynn for her weekly visits and good homemade meals and goodies. To Leonard Vigil Sr. for his support, understanding and errands that he ran for her. Father Joseph for his visit and administering her last rites. The Family of Grace M.
