Jose Francisco (Frank) Manuel Esquibel, 93, a lifelong resident of Tierra Amarilla, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2020. Frank was born on July 31, 1927 to Adolfo Esquibel and Sophia Rascon.  He was a WW II Veteran of the United States Navy between 1944 – 1946.  He retired from the Chama Valley Independent School.  Frank was the local Barber and owned the Valley Theatre and Pool Hall.  Many of us have fond memories of him in his businesses.  Both him and his wife, Kate loved to dance and travel.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Kate and two sons Franciso and Frank.  He is survived by seven daughters (Rosemary, Patty, Henrietta, Elizabeth, Debbie, Susan and Frances) and three sons (Johnny, Kevin and Carlos (Charlie)).  He is also survived by twenty-nine grandchildren and twenty-nine great grandchildren.
