Miguel A. Guillen
Miguel A. Guillen, born October 12, 1984 passed away unexpectedly on September 22, 2019. He was preceded in Death by His Sister, Christina Guillen: Grandparents Augustine and Adelaida Edmonds and Antonio and Estafanita Guillen: close cousins, Julian Gonzales and Dominic Herrera.
He is Survived By his daughter, Estrella Guillen, Parents Maxine and Richard Guillen: his companion of many years, Renee Otero: Mother of his Child, Tiffani Lovato; brother Richie Guillen and Lenora; sisters Jennifer Mondragon and Steven, Julie Morales and Jose, and Marylina Tanuz and Victor, as well as numerous Nephews and Nieces, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
In his early 20’s Miguel became a state certified police dispatcher and worked for the Espanola E-911 Center, Pojoaque Tribal Police and the New Mexico State Police. He was one of the best police dispatchers in the area.
He was fondly called “Space” by his friends, “My Baby” by his Mom, and “Mr. Jeopardy” by his Dad. He was a very intelligent person, he helped anybody without question and was very polite and kind. His knowledge and use of computers were exceptional. He loved spending time with his daughter, family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 10:00 AM with the Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 AM at the San Juan Bautista Catholic Church in Ohkay Owingeh.
