The family of Rocky A. Gonzales of Española is saddened to announce his passing on April 30th, 2021 at the age of 44. He will be lovingly remembered by his cherished children: Esperanza, 23, (Emmanuel),  Xavier, 11, and Rocky Jr., 3 ; grandchild, Emmanuel Armando; grandmother, Loretta Gonzales, who raised him as her son ; brother, Nickie Chavez (Merry Lew); and his love Amanda Martinez.  Honorary Pallbearers; Nickie Chavez, Emmanuel Velazquez, Joseph (JJ) Garcia, Nick Gonzales, and Shawn Gonzales. He was predeceased by his mother Carmen Laurice Gonzales; maternal grandfather Armando Gonzales, who raised him as a son; paternal grandparents Floyd and Grace Martinez; sister, Jackie Gonzales; cousins, Mark and Linda Garcia, Christi Herrera, John Paul and Chris Ludi, and Daniel Martinez Jr. His extended family; Aunts, Jeanette Montoya (Telesfor), Jelene Hart, Judith Gonzales, Beverly Quintana :Uncles, Daniel Martinez, Joseph Martinez, and Gilbert Garcia. Special and Close cousins Gary Maestas  (Donna), Diahann Cordova (Dickie), Jose Montoya (Kim), Lorianne Montoya,  Robert Godfrey (Anna), Sarah Hart (David), and Lorianne Quintana (JR) Those who knew Rocky, knew that his most valued accomplishments in life were his children. He lived and breathed for them. He was the greatest dad any child could hope for. Rocky had the biggest heart, and if those he cared about were in need, he was there. He will be deeply missed. The family wishes to send a special thank you to the families at Club Lumina and Just Things for their contributions and compassion.
