For almost eight months the used bookstore operated by the Friends of the Española Public Library has been closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are happy to announce that we will be reopening Oct. 28, on a limited basis. The bookstore will be open every Wednesday during current library hours, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m.

We have thousands of books of every type and topic that you can have for a small donation. All proceeds from our sales go to the Española Public Library to support educational programs and community projects. Whether you are an old customer or have never been into our bookstore we invite you to drop in and take a look around.

Our cashiers and patrons must follow all COVID-19 safety protocols as posted at the entry to the library. Check in at the library front desk and they can direct you to the bookstore. Friends is excited to be able to reopen the bookstore and we look forward to expanding our hours when we can do so safely.
