Expressing Gratitude
We, the families of Moving Arts Española, would like to express our gratitude to the Española City Council Members for the support demonstrated at the City Council Meeting on Jan. 13.
With over 100 families in attendance and multiple students, parents, and alumni who spoke about the impact Moving Arts has had on their lives, we couldn’t have been prouder. As the City Council listened intently, they smiled, nodded, and expressed the importance of supporting our youth – our future. It was a beautiful sight to behold, but we were even more grateful to see and hear the support from each council member.
Mayor John Ramon Vigil, Councilors Aaron Salazar, Pedro Valdez, Nanette Rodriguez, Peggy Sue Martinez, Denise Benavidez, Felicia Archuleta-Toya, Mayor Pro Tem Justin Salazar Torrez, and Samuel LeDoux, we thank you for your support and commitment to keeping Moving Arts Española within the Española Valley.
We are excited for the vote on the upcoming ordinance on March 10, which will begin the steps in securing a forever home for Moving Arts, so that our children can continue to have a safe place to grow.
Diego Lopez,
