Steven David Gutierrez, 46, a lifelong resident of Hernandez unexpectedly went to be with our Lord on January 30th 2026.

Steven was proceeded in death by his grandfathers’ Edd Gonzales, and Saviniano Gutierrez, Grandmothers’ Dora Gonzales and Nicolassa Gutierrez, Tia Viola Chavez, and Tio’s David Solano, Maclovio Gonzales, and Steven Gutierrez.

He is survived by his 3 beautiful children: Steven, Jadis andKyla. Mother Edna Gonzales-Anzaldua and husband Patrick, Father, Saviniano “Junior” Gutierrez and wife Beverly, sister, Maggie Madrid and husband Nicolas and niece Mila. As well as Aunts, Linda and Juanita and many cousins. Steven was a talented musician. He played drums, guitar and bass. He used these musical skills to praise God.

He was highly skilled and was a good handyman; a jack of all trades. He could fix your car and lay down your tile. Steven was a man of faith, believing in Jesus as his Lord-God and Savior. His heart belonged to God.

His sudden departure has left a void in all our lives but we arecomforted to know that he is once again joyful and in the presence of the Lord!

Celebration of Life will be Friday, February 20, 2026 at 10am at Pojoaque Bible Church in Nambe.
