Students at the Family Learning Center showed off their custom “cars” at the school on Good Friday. Family Learning Center Director Catherine Martinez Berryhill said the show was a culturally relevant event for the children, who were asked to construct vehicles, with the help of their families, to put on display. The only rule was that they must start with a cardboard box. Berryhill said it was designed to be a family project. Los Guys car club supported the show with real cars and an Easter egg hunt was held, with many parents and community members in attendance.
