Española Humane to Host Open House
From a Press Release
Española Humane will celebrate a new era of accessible veterinary care at a special open house for its recently opened Española Humane Animal Clinic.
The event will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday (4/25) at 2126 El Llano Road in Ohkay Owingeh, across from the Española Municipal Airport.
Community members are invited to tour the facility, meet the veterinary team and learn more about the clinic’s services, which are designed to remove barriers to care and support pets and their families across Northern New Mexico and beyond.
“Opening this clinic represents a major step forward in ensuring that every pet has access to essential care,” Executive Director Kate Baldwin said. “We’re proud to welcome the community into this space and share how we’re working together to create a healthier future for animals.”
The Española Humane Animal Clinic offers:
• Free spay and neuter surgeries for pets statewide
• Free core vaccines, made possible through a partnership with Petco Love
• Affordable wellness and urgent care services for local families
While spay/neuter and vaccine services are available for all pets in New Mexico, wellness and urgent care services are focused on pets in Española Humane’s local service area, including Rio Arriba County, the city of Española, and surrounding pueblos.
The clinic — and the services it provides — have been made possible by donors and partners committed to expanding access to veterinary care across New Mexico.
Guests attending the open house may enjoy light refreshments while learning more about available services and how to access care for their pets.
